All In Stride

Yes, it's been awhile since the Post Girl has spoken, so let's update.

1- Switched from training videos to actual video work! And seeing edits other editors have done that I don't like. But the client liked it, so oh well.
2- Back to training videos next week. Ungh.
3- I've been asked to go to Cinequest. I have to pay for airfare and split a hotel 3 ways. But my pass is paid for. And school might pay for airfare. So, uh, yeah. I'm going. Pending the approval of my video professor (who's assigned a project to be shot on film.) And I'll be hanging out in San Fran for a few days. Better not rain.

I'm also preparing my essay for my hopeful summer job editing up in Maine. All things move in my favor.

I hope.

Next on the list is to ask for recommendations for the Maine job. That would be Video 1 professor, possibly freelance people, possibly my horribly annoying boss, and possibly good boss from new job. And maybe motion graphics professor. Fun times, begging for good words!
